Which CMS system for your multilingual website

If you have a webshop or website in WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify or Prestashop and you want to integrate an additional language or languages on your site, Rickid can do this for you. In WordPress and WooCommerce there are various tools in the form of plugins available to run your website in multiple languages. Shopify and PrestaShop are already systems that are equipped for multilingual use. You can use a separate tool such as Gtranslate or Google translate to influence the translations.

WordPress Multilingual Options

If you want to make your website or webshop multilingual, you can choose from various translation plugins. Rickid works with the WP plugins TranslatePress, Polylang & WPML to translate websites. With these tools you can translate your website piece by piece to the language or languages of your choice. With WPML and TranslatePress you can choose to translate your website automatically or manually. You can also choose to have your website translated first by a renowned translation agency and then deliver these texts to Rickid. Rickid will then integrate these texts piece by piece in the right position to make your website multilingual.

Rickid can be used for a cheaper license than a regular license. This amount you pay annually. 

There are 3 choices. You can choose to to provide texts yourself so that Rickid can integrate it. You can also choose to the autotranslate function. Here your site will be automatically translated or you can also choose to have it Rickid completely translated the website for your company.

PrestaShop multilingual webshop

Translating your PrestaShop to a new language is done quite quickly by using the autotranslate function of PrestaShop itself. This is done by adding a language in PrestaShop. This must be installed separately. After this, a copy of the webshop is made. The text is then automatically translated in your shop. This saves a lot of time!

If you want to have more influence on your translations you can use the language plugins for PrestaShop like Gtranslate or Deepl. With the G-translate plugin you can translate your webshop in more than 100 different languages. Google Translate or ChatGPT. The advantage of using the DeepL plugin is that you can choose not to have certain parts translated, such as the product brands and product names.
