WordPress was originally created as a blog publishing system, but has rapidly evolved to support other types of web content, including more traditional mailing lists and forums, media galleries, membership sites, and online stores. The multifunctionality of WordPress has led to an increasing number of businesses and entrepreneurs using WordPress to present their website. Many WordPress Webshops using Woocommerce have also been added at a rapid pace. WordPress is also used by over 60 million websites, including 33.6% of the top 10 million websites as of April 2019.

What exactly are WordPress Plugins? WordPress is one of the most used and accessible systems for creating a website. That is why many programs are developed for WordPress by various developers that an end user can use for her website. These programs for WordPress are also called plugins and can easily be installed on your WordPress site. The functionalities that a plugin has are not included in WordPress Themes, for example, plugins offer more diverse functionalities. Plugins are available in a variety of functionalities, such as forms, payment function, bookings and appointments or a webshop option. Most plugins are free and some plugins with extensive functionalities are paid. Often the free plugins also have a paid version that is more extensive. First of all, you need to register your webshop or company with a payment provider. Commonly used payment providers are Mollie, Adyen or Pay.nl. Once the registration is done, you will receive a code (API) that you then place on your webshop to make the connection work. You can set the methods with the payment provider. Commonly used online payment methods are iDEAL, Paypal and the credit card. Other commonly used payment methods are the option to pay (part of the amount) afterwards. For example with AfterPay or Klarna. Another option is that you link your shop with, for example, Stripe or Paypal. You often also need an API code for this.

SEO

SEO services can vary greatly in price depending on how quickly you want to see improved results, the competition for the targeted keywords, and the services included. Local SEO is another area.

SEO services can be quite extensive as it is a highly specialized field that requires expertise, ongoing maintenance, and a significant investment of time and effort. However, the benefits of a well-optimized website can be enormous, making the cost of SEO services well worth it in the long run.
